Four Week Sermon Series and Adult Study
Starting July 18, 2021

QUEST

Whether you travel far away or see your local surroundings as if for the first time, pilgrimage has long been a spiritual practice, and “journey” a deeply-felt metaphor for our spiritual lives. “Quest” comes from the Latin
root meaning “ask, seek.” This four week worship series will encourage us to open ourselves more fully to the curiosity and wonder, reflection and transformation that travelers not merely tourists–experience when they choose to immerse themselves in soul-widening adventures.

A study/discussion will take place at 9 am in the basement and include video excerpts from a discussion between The UM Board of Higher Education/Ministry and Rick Steves, famous travel guide, author and TV personality

July 18:    Quest: Leaving Home                                         Psalm 121 and Exodus 13: 17-21

July 25:    Quest: Encounter                                                Psalm 146 and John 4: 7-40

Worship Services In Person and on Facebook Live

Our congregation is now worshipping together on Sunday Mornings in the Sanctuary. Fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks. Social distancing is still required and additional cleaning protocols are in place.  We will also continue using FaceBook Live to stream the service for those who wish to participate remotely.   Follow this link to join the live feed or listen later:

Fresh Groceries
 MINISTRIES

We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.  We do this through the Kirkland Food Pantry, our Knitting Ministry, offering community fellowship events and assisting our neighbors who are in need.
