Worship Series - "Moving Out of Scare City"

The sense that there is not enough drives greed, fear and exclusionary behavior. We begin to live in "Scare City" where it seems that death, starvation, feelings of being overwhelmed and swallowed up can lurk around every corner. The Good News is that this is an illusion. A spiritual journey into the truth of abundance offers us an alternative vision of where to live our lives. This series will have us "Moving out of Scare City" and traveling to the vast, open habitats of God's abounding grace.

Worship Services on Facebook Live

Starting on October 25, 2020 COVID-19 restrictions in Illinois Region 1 are being tightened to only permit 10 people to gather in one place.  Because of this we will return to worshiping on Sundays at 10:00 AM Central Time  via live streaming on our Facebook page.  Services will be uploaded to YouTube after the live stream ends.  Follow this link to join the live feed or listen later:

ALL ARE WELCOME HERE

We welcome all who want a closer relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  We see ourselves as a welcoming and open congregation and hope you feel that welcome as you enter our doors.  We seek growth through worship, prayer study and service.  Join us!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

We are a congregation with deep Methodist roots in our community.  We have been here for over 125 years and plan to be here for years to come!

 MINISTRIES

We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.  We do this through the Kirkland Food Pantry, our Knitting Ministry, offering community fellowship events and assisting our neighbors who are in need.
